Keyless entry went out of my 2001 BMW 530i. Who knows how to reset it?
So I use my car every day and now the keyless entry works not. I read the manual and it said that it charges every time you put it in the ignition, but now it does not work. My backup also does not work. Bin I screwed and have to buy a new key? Or is there another way?
first of these first. Check the fuse for the central locking in Trunk. It is on the right side behind the plate. the gas door drive stick and blows the fuse. then keyless entry will not work. if that's ok you can try the key to initialize. go in car, locked the door, turn the key to the second position. Remove button and press the button on the remote lock. during Lock key is pressed, press and release the unlock button 3 times. Then go make all the buttons. The door locks should cycle. if this work do not you probably have a bad key. The battery can be bad or too low. Leaving the keys in the ignition is free on the remote control. hope this works

I am always willing to custom order a new BMW 335i and the cost is the same for Leather and imitation leather. The should I go? The real stuff or synthetic? I am black order, if it makes a difference.

The two previous answers were obviously from people who do not own a BMW. If you wait! The 2009 is the end of the Life for the present generation of X3. The 2010 is a brand new design, looking like the new X5 shape. There is also new engines, including the twin-turbo in the 335 and 535 and the amazing turbo diesel engine that should get 35MPG.
