Help with location of PVC valve on 1994 Buick Regal!?
I have a 1994 Buick Regal Custom, 3.8L V6, trying to figure out exactly where the PVC valve is need to change them, any help is wonderful! Thank you!
35 years, a mechanic, the only place I have ever seen PCV Valves on the valve cover. As for your V6, I would think it would be to cover on the back valve as the engine face.
Do not you think they are outshone by Cadillacs? and if I wanted a GM Cadillac luxury car I'd buy one. So why have two luxury stores in the same company they would not compete against each other?
Buicks are popular with seniors. They love the feeling the big car. They love the luxury. They grew with them, she does not have any slideshow? My grandmother used to buy Buicks because they had the bench, and prevented her back they sit in a bucket seat. She loved the reliability and the fact that they destroy rather heavy. Did I mention some of the juice theyre cars on the street? (Note: I did not say the safest) is the current Buick car of the PGA. So use it to Buicks shuttle players around. Buick also sponsors golf tournaments. In the new today, they said, because GM is so far back, Buick will not use their cars to shuttle players to VIPs, so that the PGA must now find other ways.
1999 Buick Regal Gs requires premium gas. Can I use a lower octane and add Octane Boost?
I bought a 1999 Buick Regal GS, which is supercharged engine. It requires premium unleaded gasoline. I was curious if I could buy 87 or 89 octane, and add a bottle of octane number increase. This could be cheaper because the price of gas these days. Any thoughts?
Octane are proposed for optimum engine performance. You should maintain what she calls Motors a healthy. "Many high-performance motors for the work with a high maximum compression and thus need a high quality (high energy) fuel usually associated with high octane numbers and thus demand high-octane premium gasoline. The performance of an engine depends on the energy content of fuel, and this is in no simple relation to the octane rating. A common understanding that can only apply in a few cases among the petrol consumers is that adding a higher octane fuel a car, the engine offers higher performance and / or lessen its fuel consumption and this can be false under most conditions – while the Engines best performance when using fuel with the octane rating for which they are built, and any increase in performance by using a fuel with a different octane rating is minimal or even imaginary, unless carbon hotspots, fuel injector clogging or other conditions that a lean situation, leading to that tapping more frequently in high-mileage vehicles, would cause modern cars, to retard the timing which are at a loss, can cause can both responsiveness and fuel economy. This is also not for turbo cars, which allows greater advance in certain circumstances by external Temperatures can be driven to apply. "
If the fuel line at a car a "do it yourself job" or more to bring feesable instead of to a mechanical?
My 1978 Buick Regal, Carburetor is leaking fuel. I found the leak on the line under my car, where part of the rotten line / is rusted through. After examing the rest of the trail I noticed several other areas of rust, could cause similar problems in the future. I decided it would be best to simply replace the entire pipeline now. A colleague suggested that it even braided with a "steel" fuel line. How rational is it to replace me or would it be better to bring to my mechanic? How much do you think it would cost, it must be repaired professionally? .. Insight would be much appreciated.
On your carburetor Regal 78 I would not hesitate for a moment before executing a flexible rubber fuel line from tank to the pump. The only consideration is to be careful to distance him from of moving components, hold it above the lowest part of the frame to protect it from damage from road debris and secure it as often as possible with nylon cable ties, to prevent it from drooping or sagging below where it could get snagged on something else. Definitely a DIY project.
im sure most of them would be the Americans … some of my decisions are PT Cruiser Dodge Charger, Dodge and most vehicles Mustang – 2005 and older (does not look sporty, for me means sporty looks aerodynamic) BMW's Grill looks ugly to me, Caravan, the ugliest minivan. Hummer, Buick, etc, etc.. What do you say ya'll?

I have just given a 1985 Buick Regal V6 with a bad engine knock 3.8L. Proposals to replace the engine?
The 3.8L V6 has a bad knock and I wanted to start with the restoration of the car as was replacement of an engine with more power, with some thinking. 'm Putting a new tranny in the same way. Suggestions or comments for what I put there, both engine and tranny. If I put the Chevy 350 Turbo transmission with the computer needs to be changed? Do I need to probably back End how?
These vehicles were available with the 5.0L (305) Chevy V8 engine and the 5.0L (307) Oldsmobile V8 engine. Chevy 5.0L engine is a solid and cranks more PS 307th as GM If I wanted to swap for a bigger engine, I would look in at 305 and a HD tranny. This should be easy to find. Your car is a GM G-body, as well as The Cutlass / Supreme, Monte Carlo, Malibu, Bonneville / Lemans, Grand Prix, and El Camino and his siblings GMC. The 305 and 307 engines were in the 80-96 Caprice 84-86 Parisienne / Impala, 80-85 and 88 LeSabre, 80-84 98, and Electra, and 1980-1996 GM B-body cars, the upgraded four-speed automatic transmission (4L60E) is the best choice, but were not available til the later years in GM cars. Good luck in modernization – its not as expensive and parts are easily accessible .. hope I could help some …

Sounds like your transmission is slipping on what you and the gearbox. Was always run the car at a low fluid level? Was it too often take pedal to the metal before the problem? You might want to check the vacuum lines that could it be a leak.
