I suggest to save and get one on the TSX K24 engine with 200whp To boot possiable and tariff quota, increase your power should be much more then ECU, bolt-ons and even some compressors and turbo. k20a.org
Hello! I got a reply from this person stating, "Serious racers do not use seals, they are too heavy and to limit horsepower. Remove all seals and tighten all the screws twice as much as the stock specification and win-bit A 40 HP rather than that which is. "Is that true? In what way can you prove it? no videos or data? it would not leak? We talk about the SE-valve seals & more for a 1995 Acura Integra
Sounds like a load of BS (if you know what I mean) If you tighten the screw it twice trying moments, it will either strip the threads or break the screw. Sealed surfaces have been designed seals. They were not processed to do it any other way.
2010 Acura Zdx Overview, Specifications and pricing
The 2006 is a transfer from the year 2005, I do not know what the poster says about me. (If the 06 is nothing but problems then the 05 would be too) you can find them pretty cheap, depending on whether you want the regular RSX or for a bit, but more for the S-type. My dealer just had a 2005 RSX with 29K miles with leather and auto and we sold it for $ 14,990.00
What are the best message boards for car / motorcycle repair questions?
I want active message board with 50K + contributions. Something like http://www.honda-acura.net/forums/index.php
Why not ask here? If you have thousands of incorrect answers by sorting, ask there. If you get the right answer with much less clutter, then fire started! Can not be much more active than Yahoo Answers. There's a section of the motorcycles, and all other makes of vehicles.

What is the difference between the Acura RSX and RSX Type S?
What is the difference between the Acura RSX and RSX Type S, there are differences in the performance or the interior or the parts are different?

Keep Acura Rsx Type S or should I have a Honda Civic Si Coupe?
Considering what I could get for my Acura, I should end my rent or trade in and get a Honda Civic Coupe si?
Actually, if it is only a lease, I would not personally get rid of the Type-S in favor the Si 1) SI has a limited slip diff, the Type-S. but if ur just driving around, I do not think you would need it 2) do not Si chassis is as choppy as the RSX is. I drove an RSX over LA freeways and the thing was just jumping all over the place and I think the Si and the Type-S would run sprints neck to neck in a straight line. but if you have S-for storage the guy, I would personally think it looks like. It is one of the best looking Acura far in my opinion. total up to what you want. Both are great cars, understand me wrong. I just prefer the Si.
what s to be a better buy in the tuner world, a 2000 Civic Si or a 2002 Acura Rsx Type-?
Which engine is the better of the two Civic Si B16 or Acura's Type-S K20. I want to go would tune the engine with turbo and other aftermarket parts for the engine of the road?
Now I have a 99 civic EX with a B16 swap thats built as follows: Eagle Stroker 1.8 liters, eagle rods, JE 9.0 to 1 compression pistons, cometic head gasket, Greddy Belts, Darton sleeved block, polished, port / head, valves Skunk2 crank, valve springs, retainers, stage 2 turbo cams and cam gears, 70mm throttle power technologies, Skunk2 intake manifold, turbonetics T3/T4 turbocharger, wastegate turbonetics Evolution, spearco intercooler, blow off valve turbonetics raptor, Act 6 puck hub clutch, ACT flywheel streetlite, Greddy ProfEC sprung E-01 Boost controller, Greddy E-manage, and Ultimate. On my latest tunes 15 PSI for dialysis I go have 365 hp, and 25 PSI for the track had I 497 HP. Now talk comparativley, the SI had for around $ 6,000, while the RSX is close to $ 13,000. I had my car through a shop and the total cost of construction including of labor was reduced by $ 7,000. Now for $ 13,000 you can have a share or a built RSX Civic SI. Well, what do you think?
If I buy a base Acura RSX I can do it with a compressor?
Because I am under the impression you could only Super Charge of the S-Type. Can you supercharge any car? I voted against the purchase of the Acura RSX base b / c in fear reservations, I will not be able to get it fast as I make it and I cannot get the S-type due the fact that I want to hold on cannot drive. but I love the styling of this car. Can the base RSX 250-300 PS have some how?
Let me tell you why this is a bad idea. You can supercharge any car with a "normal" engine. Unless there is something funny like a Wankel engine. So one could do it. But the problem is anything on the car engine was developed to work with, as it was. The gearbox, brakes, suspension, etc. You have to go Engine these elements are mandated to replace most of your super. Your next problem is that all this do your insurance is invalid. If you quickly to new vehicle one tree wrap and they later find it super charged, expect them to not pay. It is usually a condition of insurance that the vehicle, as the work leave. If you're not telling them about this kind of modification, expect them to revoke your insurance. This could also get you into legal trouble if They are affected in an accident and someone decides or an insurance company to sue you. If you sell the vehicle, or trade, if the buyer discovers what You have done, they will probably steer clear of your vehicle. This type of third party modifications are very unpopular with all the above reasons. In addition, they assume that you are a boy racer and concerned that you have beaten the car to death. They are worried about the long-term reliability to make. All this will affect your resale value. Finally, if you have a car that still have the warranty on it, this type of change is basically the warranty expire. So now you are on your own if the vehicle fails or another topic guarantee. My advice is to learn to drive stick. It is not so, that hard to do. Learning to drive a stick-opens a whole range of cars like the WRX and stuff like that comes only in a manual.
I quote a well used metaphor: when it is not broke, do not fix it.
Especially if you have a car that is a success was making from the first day on the road. So when it came time to redesign the popular RSX 2005 Acura decided to focus on subtleties, rather than for larger Changes, with subtle but significant changes throughout. After all, they had been on the receiving end of numerous awards and praise since its introduction in 2001.
The RSX '05 came in four versions: Basic, Premium, Premium leather, and the high-performance Type-S. All models were of a two-liter four-cylinder twin overhead camshafts driven, four valves per cylinder and Acura's tried and true i-VTEC variable valve timing. In regular trim, this engine delivered 160 hp at 6,500 rpm, while the Type S has 50 more horsepower version comes in addition to upping the engine output to 210 hp at 7800 min rpm. This was up by ten horses '04, And the performance was by using a high-performance camshafts, a larger intake manifold, larger diameter exhaust system reaches and a free-flowing catalyst. In 2005, the RSX Type-S meets one of the few vehicles on the market – and exceeded – the elusive 100 hp per liter scale.
Transmission choices were a five-speed manual gearbox and five-speed automatic transmission with Sequential Sports Shift feature Acura's. The Type-S also had a six-speed manual transmission, which was on the receiving end of a lower axle ratio and redesigned fifth and sixth gear synchronizer. It improves the transmission feel 'shift, which, frankly, a weak point was in the previous version.
Any sports coupe worth its salt has decent suspension and the RSX was no exception. Improvements include a lower ground clearance redesigned connectors on the rear double wishbones, front and rear stabilizers larger, firmer settings for both front shock absorbers and springs, shock absorbers and newly designed front jacks. The result was ride quality, enhanced handling and more linear steering. A vehicle, already known for his treatment offered better cornering ability, in other words.
Suspension changes were complemented by four-wheel disc brakes with ABS and a newer, larger Diameter pedal and master cylinder changed brake mechanism. The new base models, and Type-S was also redesigned alloy wheels and Michelin high performance tires.
Inside the new RSX, front bucket seats stood up with a thicker lower cushion fixed side bolsters and redesigned and trim accents around the head restraints. For long car trips or spirited cornering, was the situation in the seats RSX oriented more "drivers" than before. Base models also cloth seats with faux suede presented, while the S-Type had perforated leather covers … . Trim Also optional on the base model. All models came with power windows, central locking, climate control, cruise control, adjustable Steering wheel and a power moon roof …. Among others. Safety features include dual-stage front airbags, side airbags and belt tensioners.
All this was in a new body, a redesigned front end featured accommodated with lower, rectangular air ducts, aggressive-looking tri-beam headlights and a New Acura family grille. As well were enlarged to the side of the RSX and extends further towards the front of the car. The rear end received some styling flourishes with new taillight Components, a redesigned bumper, larger diameter exhaust tips and, on the Type-S, a trunk lid spoiler. Total vehicle aerodynamics have been as a result improved and the car had a more aggressive appearance than before.
One thing that has not changed was the RSX "driveability and fun quotient. It was – And is – a pleasure to drive …. In particular, the Type-S. Like the looks that come close to the corner do? Go ahead …. If it happened. Would you like S-curves faster than usual? Not working …. fill your boots. The RSX retained his good sense of balance, with predictable and linear steering, excellent brakes and one of the fastest-reacting Four-cylinder engines on the market. For serious motor heads, the Type-S really came into their own brand around the 6,500 rpm than most other similar models of steam from start, and his performance was almost addictive.
Not surprisingly, perhaps, the RSX has retained its value. In those days, you will of about $ 17,000 to pay up to $ 21,500, depending on equipment level. That is not much of a drop from its original $ 24,900 to $ 33,000 price range. The Canadian Black Book has it at $ 17 900 for the base model, going up to $ 21,050 for the Type S. The Red Book, meanwhile, says $ 17,125 to $ 21,275.
Transport Canada has no security Recalls on file for the 2005 Acura RSX, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has only two, both headlights for smaller problems. As well, NHTSA has a relatively small 15 Technical Service Bulletin for the RSX, of which most are for minor things like a squeaky rear window wiper, noisy suspension components and so on. Several to report issues, however, cooling, and any faulty camshaft bearings. NHTSA is also the RSX a five star rating for frontal crashes and four stars for the side impact and rollover.
Interestingly, marketing researcher, JD Power is less than enthusiastic about the RSX, by "average" or below ratings in almost all areas, except the function of quality accessories.
I've heard that with Type-S block get K24 K20 RSX people and the same valve. I ask me if I could at the same time on my automatic RSX for a similar effect? If so, should the types of HP gains, I expect.
The additional torque from the K24 is the blow AT.
